We provide a comprehensive range of personal assistance services. These services are individualized based on a mutual needs assessment conducted by Jocelyn
Our aim is to create a safe, comfortable, and serene
environment to allow our clients to remain independent in their
homes and avoid institutional care for as long as
possible. We do this by assisting our clients:
. Getting in and out of bed
· Dressing and undressing
· Bathing and personal hygiene
. Grooming
· Mobility
· Sleep monitoring
Our loved ones deserve to be happy and contented in their golden years. This is not easy as they lose friends and relatives and in-person contact. They need somebody to talk with when they want to talk.
A major part of our carer's job is to provide your loved ones with companionship and conversation so that they remain emotionally engaged.
As an optional aide to conversation pointers, we ask families to help out by completing a simple questionnaire covering personal, family, and work background, likes and dislikes, preferences, times, hobbies, favorite cities, countries, teams and so on.
We also focus on mental stimulation with board games, puzzles, and reading.
While our caregivers are not medical professionals, they are trained to monitor and log your loved one’s vital signs each day — including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
We watch closely for signs of illness, discomfort, or behavioral changes and alert family members immediately if concerns arise.
Medications are administered on time and logged. Health data remains private and is shared only with designated family.
For added peace of mind, we retain private duty nurses who can assess, visit, and provide in-home skilled care when needed.
Jocelyn personally conducts an in-home fall safety assessment for each client.
We then create a personalized plan to minimize risks, tailored to the client’s mobility, layout of the home, and daily routine.
Our caregivers are trained to follow these plans and assist with any mobility challenges, using proper safety techniques.
We offer experienced, personalized support for clients with:
We coordinate closely with families, medical teams, and hospice providers when needed.
We encourage your able loved ones to take short walks, and to do light exercise, and stretching — always accompanied and assisted by their caregivers.
To ensure your loved ones experience no sense of isolation, like many in nursing homes, we also accompany clients on outings of their choice:
We help coordinate and transport clients to each of these excursions.
We shop for fresh groceries and prepare light hot meals — from breakfast and lunch to snacks, and on request, warm evening dishes.
Whenever possible, we involve clients in the preparation, providing a moment of joy, not just nourishment, and family peace of mind knowing that your loved ones are well nourished.
We handle light housekeeping and home tasks to keep your loved one’s space safe, clean, and comfortable:
We can also make your loved ones' lives a little easier by running errands at request out of scheduled hours
